The South Fork Friends Foundation Pickleball Tournament is a wrap. I never thought I'd be the Organizer and Tournament Director for a game that I never even played until this morning, but you take what life throws at you and run with it. The weather was perfect. Everyone who registered showed up, except for one who was ill but who let me know, so I could fill his spot with a substitute. Thanks to Miles Ledgerwood who designed and explained the brackets to me. Thanks to Suzan Ginani, Dru Nell Maxwell, and Patricia Hendricks who did registration, scoring, and helped with the cooking. Thanks to my incredible wife Judith Brennan who suffered through this journey with me for the past month and who was awesome today. Every player received a $20 gift certificate from a local South Fork establishment. Food was free to all. The pictures tell the story, folks, but I believe it is safe to say this was an incredible success for SFFF and for our community. Oh, yeah, congratulation to our Champions, Tammy Ray and Thad Halloway, and the runners-up, Holli Esteban and Angela Spurlock!
