Kick-off the holiday season in South Fork. First up is Winterfest, hosted at the Rio Grande Club & Resort, which brings local vendors to display and sell food, crafts, holiday goods, antiques, artwork and more! Then, the annual Yuletide Lighting of the trees at the Visitor Center and historic water tower follows that evening! "Join us for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer! Enjoy a free chili dinner, along with delicious cookies, hot cocoa, and cider. Santa will be visiting with gifts for the kids, and there will be Christmas carols and LIVE Music, The tree lighting ceremony, a bonfire, and more!"
Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate the season. If you’d like, please consider bringing some canned or shelf-stable food to donate to the Alamosa Food Pantry.
The South Fork Friends Foundation has plenty of volunteer opportunities available for those who want to get involved! Whether you can help with setup, serving food, checking on beverages, cleaning up, or other tasks, they would love to have your assistance. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact the Friends directly on Facebook or via their website.
Yuletide Celebration

The evening features the lighting of 50 Christmas Trees, photos with Santa, hot cocoa, treats and cookie decorating. Enjoy the magic evening in the comfort of our heated circus tent!

Remember, when you shop here, you're supporting local businesses! Santa will be visiting for photos.
